CNC Manual Lathe Turning Machinist – B and C-Shift

Essential Functions:
  • Operate Manual Turning Lathes to produce any given product to a customer’s specification on dimensions, functionality, quality, and delivery.
  • Ability to perform manual measurements.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with supervisors, managers, and coworkers.
  • Ability/Availability to work extra hours when required.
  • Excellent blue-print reading skills.
  •  Good use of standard measurement tools.
  •  Ability and experience to operate various types of manual equipment.
  • Abiding by all safety regulations and Company policies.
  • Completing any given job at, or below, the estimated hours – including setup.
  • Effectively managing tooling including fixtures, inserts, holders, and specialized tooling.
  • Keeping work area clean and organized.

Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic

Essential Functions:
  • Repair CNC Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers, Lathes, and various other Machine Shop Equipment.
  • Follow Preventative Maintenance Program and strictly adhere to Preventative Maintenance Procedures. Follows appropriate Lock Out – Tag Out procedures.
  • Excellent troubleshooting experience including electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLC’s.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of equipment and equipment rooms.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance and corresponding reports daily.
  • Complete assigned work orders
  • Resolve electrical problems.
  • Other maintenance related duties assigned by the Plant Manager.
  • Sound knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical schematic drawings and relative processes.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to read, understand, draw, trouble shoot and repair systems and processes in a timely fashion using sophisticated test equipment, as necessary, related to these systems.
  • Ability to provide innovative approaches and designs to difficult problems.
  • Mechanical and electrical repair expertise
  • Mathematical aptitude with ability to calculate proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume as well as apply basic algebraic and geometry applications.
  • Must be able to read and follow blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
  • Understanding of word processing, spreadsheets, email, knowledge of MS Word, Excel
  • Thorough knowledge and demonstration of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)

CNC Machine Operator B-Shift

Essential Functions:

• Performs operations needed to manufacture components.
• Run CNC Milling Equipment.
• Perform basic daily maintenance on work centers.
• Commitment to keeping a neat and organized work area.
• Develop specifications from simple and complex blueprints, or hand sketch simple parts on paper.
• Adherence to all safety requirements including proper use of PPE.
• Willingness to work overtime to maintain customer requirements.
• Able to fit parts and hold tolerance to within .001-.005”.
• Takes responsibility and pride in doing work precisely and correctly.

Saw Operator – B and C-Shift

Essential Functions:

• Operate all models of Band Saws and become proficient in loading and unloading the machines as directed.
• Cut product within tolerance and squareness requirements.
• Read job routers, prints, and other procedural documents.
• Perform inspections.
• Maximize output for any given task(s).
• Work and effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors.

Qualifications:

• General Machining/Carpentry experience.

Furnace Operator – B and C-Shift

Essential Functions:

• Operate high temperature vacuum furnace.
• Monitor process and record parameters.
• Utilize analog and digital gauges, digital controllers, and PC HMI to record temperature, current, voltage, flow, pH, level, pressure and partial pressure of liquid and gas.
• Adjust gauges, valves, digital I/O and (HMI) process parameters to ensure safety of personnel.
• Load and unload furnace.
• LOTO: Electric (high & low voltage), Pneumatic, Water Circulation and Process Gas.
• Work with hazardous material and corrosive gas.
• Able to periodically operate in a full-face respirator, test required.
• Packaging of purified product.
• Adheres to established clean room procedures.
• Standard maintenance.
• Change pump oil.
• Clean chambers, exhaust piping and stacks (reassemble as required).
• Inspect equipment for erosion and mechanical integrity.
• Record and report equipment condition and status.
• Remove, inspect, replace carbon insulation and graphite heaters.
• Install vacuum pumps.
• Disconnect and re-connect high current power to heater power studs.

Midwest Regional Sales Manager

The Midwest Regional Sales Manager – EDM is to market, promote and increase sales of company product(s). In addition to sales, the Midwest Regional Sales Manager will solicit, develop, and report strategic information and opportunities. Candidates must be located in the Midwest territory, Michigan, Indiana, or Illinois.

Essential Functions:

• Visit prospects, customers, & attend trade shows promoting company products/services.
• Increase sales within existing customer base & identify new opportunities to increase market share.
• Develop & implement annual sales plan in support of the organization’s objectives while reporting progress to plan, & competitive activities on a regular basis.
• Be proficient in providing market reports/call reports to management.
• Produce accurate sales forecast reports and territory analysis.
• Assist with CET-Sales representative functions when in the office/as needed.

Inspector/Quality Technician – B-Shift

Essential Functions:

• Excellent use of standard measurement equipment (i.e., micrometers, verniers, etc.)
• Excellent Blueprint reading skills.
• Experience and good skills on comparator.
• Program and operate CMM using Calypso software (Pc Dmis a plus).
• Knows how to read and interpret GD&T.
• Proficient use of vision system with Measure X and or Zone 3 software.
• Knowledge of machining practices a plus.
• Ability/Availability to work overtime and weekends when required by customer demands.
• Experience and good skills with windows applications (i.e., MSWord, MS Excel, etc.).
• Experience and good skills with SPC, ISO9002, and other quality standards/techniques.
• Some knowledge of tool calibration standards and techniques.
• Actively seek out WIP jobs and complete First-Off inspections to assist in the timely delivery of customer products.
• Familiarize yourself with shipment priorities and ensure that these jobs are not delayed due to quality/inspection reasons.
• Reduce scrap through accurate First-Off inspections and awareness of faulty machining procedures.
• Inspect incoming materials (tools, material, customer returns, etc.).
• Complete and file all applicable Inspection/Quality paperwork.
