CNC Milling Machinist B or C-Shift

Essential Functions:
  • Program, setup, and operate CNC mills to produce any given product to a customer’s specification on dimensions, functionality, quality, and delivery.
  • Comply with all safety regulations
  • Maintain a safe working environment that is organized, clean, and free from debris
  • Perform periodic preventative maintenance on equipment being used, including daily cleaning and daily maintenance checklists
  • Perform all delegated tasks from CNC Supervisor
  • Suggest ideas to better work environment and/or increase efficiency of workflow
  • Perform inspections on all products to ensure product quality before it reaches the Quality department.
  • Work with CAD to facilitate the production of products
  • Actively seek out extra work
  • Work with department supervisor to ensure smooth flow between other departments during multi-departmental jobs.
  • Maintain tooling in organized manner. Inspect tooling before use to ensure quality product is produced.
  • Clear understanding of offsets, fixturing, and programming techniques
  • Good skills with conventional inspection equipment. CMM experience/knowledge preferred.
  • Excellent math skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Perform all required scribing and hand-working.
  • Maintain a through in-process inspection for all jobs.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years CNC Programming experience
  • Minimum 3 years lathe experience; 3 years on CNC Lathe
  • Blueprint reading skills
  • Able to setup and run concurrent jobs on multiple machines
  • Able to use standard measuring equipment such as micrometers, comparators
  • Strong Shop math skills
  • Able to work to metric dimensions
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and ISO quality systems
Compensation

Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to the candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $20-$27/per hour, plus Shift Differential.


CNC Lathe Machinist B and C-Shift

Essential Functions:

  • Setup and operate CNC Lathe machines
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with supervisors, managers, and coworkers.
  • Ability/Availability to work extra hours when required.
  • Excellent blue-print reading skills
  • Good use of standard measurement tools
  • Good trigonometry and other math skills
  • 1 years minimum CNC experience on lathes including setup, programming, and operation
  • Ability and experience to operate various types of CNC and manual equipment.
  • Abiding by all safety regulations and Company policies
  • Completing any given job at, or below, the estimated hours – including setup.
  • Effectively managing tooling including fixtures, inserts, holders, and specialized tooling.
  • Keeping work area clean and organized
  • Minimizing scrap and/or rework
  • Maintaining the preventative maintenance of the CNC lathes
  • Operate other CNC or manual equipment when the CNC lathes are not needed

Qualifications:

Saw Operator B-Shift

Essential Functions:
  • Operate all models of Band Saws and become proficient in loading and unloading the machines as directed
  • Cut product within tolerance and squareness requirements
  • Read job routers, prints, and other procedural documents
  • Perform inspections
  • Maximize output for any given task(s)
  • Work and effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors
Qualifications:
  • General Machining/Carpentry experience

Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to the candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $19.00-$24.00 per hour.


Empire EDM Regional Sales Manager

Essential Functions:
  • Visit prospects, customers, & attend trade shows promoting company products/services
  • Increase sales within existing customer base & identify new opportunities to increase market share.
  • Develop & implement annual sales plan in support of the organization’s objectives while reporting progress to plan, & competitive activities on a regular basis.
  • Be proficient in providing market reports & produce accurate sales forecast reports and territory analysis
  • Submit weekly call reports & expense reports
  • Identify and convert leads into quotes & orders
  • Introduce the company products & services to new prospects/customers
  • Ability to plan and travel to multiple accounts.
  • Monitor & manage the territory annual travel & entertainment budget
  • Multi-task with good organizational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Have a basic understanding of blueprints and engineering principles
  • Have a basic understanding of our products & product applications
